Appeal for the Jamestown Jail
Tweet |
This post is from Kathy DeLong of our Soulsbyville office: Jamestown Jail...Needs our HELP! Brenda Ernst and I went to the Historical Mixer Tuesday evening and had the chance to hear about the need for FUNDS/Donations to bring the Jamestown Jail BACK to Jamestown. The jail was purchased in 1960 to be a part of the theme park called Pollardville. This land was recently sold to make way for a housing development and mall. Go figure! So, for those of you who would like to help, you can go to the website http://www.jamestownjail.org/ and read all about this effort. You'll be able to download a form to donate $25.00 (purchase one brick with your name on it). Buy as MANY as you wish. Keep in mind that Jamestown, Sonora and Columbia thrive on tourist $$$'s and the JAIL will only add to that. Please check out the site. Thanks much, Kathy DeLong
