Final February Numbers Here
Tweet |
The month of February 2008 has come to an end. And since you're chompin' at the bit to know the sales numbers - yes, I've got 'em here for both Tuolumne and Calaveras County. The data used comes from both County Multiple Listing Services and is deemed reliable, but not guaranteed. And the bare bones bottom line fact is the downward trend in real estate in Tuolumne County is continuing and Calaveras is down, too. The numbers don't lie. Starting with Tuolumne County: down 55% in February 2008 versus a year ago in Residential Quantity Sold, down 52% versus a year ago in Residential Volume Sold and down 73% versus a year ago in Residential Quantity Active. (You can see more of the particulars for Tuolumne County by clicking on the first picture in this post.) On now to the numbers for Calaveras County which are as follows: down 25% in February 2008 versus a year ago in All Listings Combined Units Sold (click the second picture to view) and down 21% versus a year ago in All Listings Combined Volume Sold (click the third picture to view). Now there are at least two responses to this continued negative news. Of course, one could drive to the Golden Gate Bridge to jump, but the better response is to just keep showing up and doing the things that got you to where you are in your real estate career. Let somebody else throw in the towel, but not us. Brighter days are ahead.
