10 Mistakes People Make with Business (plus 1 bonus):
1. Think it's gonna be easy (like the guy on TV says).
2. Think there's such a thing as an overnight success (an "overnight success" is someone whose worked hard for a long time and they eventually strike gold because of it).
3. Hold on to something when they should have let go a long time ago.
4. Let go of something when they should have waited just a little bit longer.
5. Overlook hiring people whose strengths are in their area of weakness.
6. Lord it over their employees (are way too heavy-handed).
7. Forget that it's relationships that matter versus making the next sale at all costs.
8. Insist on being right versus going with the best advice/counsel.
9. Overlook the benefit of collaboration and team-building.
10. Fail to "count the cost."
