A Dream Home Come True?
With more and more real estate professionals turning to video to advertise and promote their listings, here's an example of how not to do it (see below). This was an actual real estate listing (according to the information on the YouTube page it's posted on) with a headline that read: "Country living at it's finest!" and note that the realtor had since sold the property. (So no inquiries, please!) I think you'll be dumbfounded at this video and chuckle at the same time as you hear the descriptions. I first came across it on the ActiveRain website:
Labels: broker, buyer, california, dream home, mother lode, real estate tuolumne county, sonora, tuolumne county real estate, twain harte

Wow, I have listed some real dogs, and I've been guilty of building up a sub-standard property, but never to this extent. Wow.
Oh c'mon, this was done with tongue firmly planted in cheek, no? "Poacher's delight?" "Natural growth roof?" If this is a REAL listing, the agent's name MUST be Junior Sample (call BR-549...), and if it was really sold it was probably sold for a few beans and a '49 Ford, sans engine...
Oh yes, and the soundtrack of "Louis, Louis"?? Yeah, we gotta go now...
