Showcase Your Listings with Google Maps
Tweet |
There's just a real great tool available to be used to enhance the promotion of your listings. The tool I'm talking about is Google Maps. Of course, you're now able to sweep in right down to the street level to gain a three-dimensional view of almost any property on the planet with this application. You're also able to browse the neighborhood and turn 360 degrees to look at anything and everything in it - and all from the comfortability of your own home and computer chair. And so why not include links to Google Maps on the homes and land you're trying to sell? It's really a no-brainer when you think about it. It's free. It's easy. And that degree you have as a rocket scientist isn't even needed. So how do you do it? Visit Google Maps > Enter Address > Click Search Maps > Click Street View > Click Link (to get link) > Copy and paste the link into your real estate website or blog (or email it to someone, etc.). You can even tweet the link to your twitterstream (if you're on twitter). Of course, you can contact me if you need help or have any questions. I've included an example below so you can see Google Maps in action on a site yourself...

I'm amazed that so much of our area is seen in "street-view". Too bad our neighborhood isn't yet but I agree that Google Maps is a great resource for real estate professionals.
