6 Safety Tips When Showing A Home:
- Ask a co-worker, family member or friend to be there with you.
- If you have to be alone, don't broadcast via social media that you are.
- Personally invite the neighbors prior to the event. Create a "crowd" atmosphere from the start.
- Have a secondary escape route in case of emergency.
- Consider obtaining a weapon for the purpose of protection or signing up for a self-defense class.
- Be alert at all times. (Requires remaining healthy and being well rested.) Don't let your guard down (ever).
