What’s in a Name
Tweet |
(This is just an off the beaten path type of a blog post for fun today. We all need a break from real estate from time to time.) Names. Do you remember back when you were trying to decide what to name your child that was on the way? And wasn’t it just exciting when you finally decided after much deliberation and pondering? “That’s it. Perfect. There’s no better choice than this one. We’ll name him ‘Judas.’” (Of course, some names have been retired.) But something else about names that’s kinda fun. Names have meanings. Right? Every name means something. And what makes it even more interesting is when you consider the meaning of a name and how sometimes it actually fits the personality of the person that has it. With baseball star Barry Bonds’ last game as a San Francisco Giant last night, did you know that the name “Barry” means “spearlike, pointed?" And if Bonds hasn’t been a thorn in the sports media’s side over his career, I don’t know who has. And so that’s just one example of a name fitting a person. With this in mind, I’ve included below a list of everyone’s name that works for Sugar Pine Realty along with the meaning of their name. For fun, see if your name says anything about yourself. And then consider your coworkers’ names in the same way. They’re in alphabetical order to make it easier. Enjoy the break from real estate. If I missed your name, let me know…
