A Real Estate Braveheart
Tweet |
"Freedom!" William Wallace (played by Mel Gibson) would cry out in the 1995 movie, "Braveheart." Did you see it? Do you remember that part? And even though everything had gone sour and turned against him (having been betrayed and captured by his enemies) - and even though he was having to endure unthinkable torture and unimaginable pain (I turned my eyes away - I couldn't watch), still William Wallace was able to remain true to his hopes and committed to his dreams. Even in death he was totally and completely given to the release of his native Scotsman from an evil tyrant's rule. And I guess for me "Braveheart" is just a real good example of (1) courage in the midst of trials and (2) pressing on despite the difficulties. And all of us have had difficult days before, haven't we? (Thank goodness and hopefully not half as bad as William Wallace.) And these are difficult days in real estate. No question. But the thing about it - and the only real way of making it through a difficult time - is by being courageous and by continuing to do the things that got you here. A GMAC real estate agent offers unequaled Premier Service and expertise to homebuyers and sellers - and no matter if the market is bad or good. Isn't it true? I know you know that already. I'm just talking to myself and you're listening in. And since you are, just pardon me for a moment while I shout: "Freedom!" There. I did it. I feel a whole lot better. And if the next time you see me I have a painted face you'll know why.
