Twisty Light Bulbs Not So Safe After All?
You know those new energy-saving light bulbs we're all being counseled to buy to help combat global warming? It seems there are some important facts about them that are finally getting out. The following video is of Congressman Ted Poe of Texas on the floor of the House of Representatives last month providing timely information on the potential health and environmental hazards "twisty" light bulbs pose. The video is going on 2 million views on YouTube already (since June 3). I think you'll appreciate the information. (The video is right around five minutes.)

These light bulbs are better for who? not for the environment with all the haserdous chemicals inside that makes the light, not for the consumer, they are more expensive than old carbon filement bulbs. so who is this good for? why it's good for politicians, who get generous campain donations from big business! for forcing laws down our throats, forcing us to get rid of those dangerous, environmently damaging carbon filiment bulbs that one can buy for a few cents!
