Got the Slow Computer Blues?
Has your computer been operating at a snail’s pace? I mean, you used to be able to boot up and get on the internet in what seemed like lightning speed, but now it's like you've gone back to dial up or worse. The truth of the matter is your system may be loaded down with spyware and that’s why it’s running so slow. Spyware, according to the Symantec website, is an information gathering software that attaches itself to your computer without your consent or knowledge. Spyware’s main objective is to monitor a computer user's actions, the websites he or she visits, the programs they use, and it tracks these for its own selfish purposes. There are dangers with spyware beyond it just slowing your computer down. And so you want to make sure to remove all spyware from your computer and include this as a part of your regular computer maintenance approach. A FREE spyware removal program that I recommend you checking in to is called SpyBot. It has been my experience with SpyBot that it is both safe and reliable to rid your computer of spyware. To get the latest version of SpyBot (just released on July 8, 2008), CLICK HERE. (This post is a recycled version of one written last September.)

Funny, my husband and I are both having this problem, my computer is less than two years old and his is barely 6 months, we'll test out your suggestion. We've also used Google's Spyware Doctor although I don't know for certain what exactly it does. Thanks for the tip!
