New Technology for a Global Economy
Tweet |
I've got a new technology to tell you about today. This time it's what's called Google Translate. With Google Translate you can translate text from one language to another. For example, here's a greeting (in parentheses) for Sugar Pine Realty agents in Spanish ("Buenos días Sugar Pine Realty agentes. Tiene un feliz día de venta de lotes de propiedad."), Italian ("Buongiorno Sugar Pine Realty agenti. Sono un felice giorno di vendita lotti di proprietà.") and Bulgarian ("Добро утро захарта бор Realty агенти. Имам един щастлив ден продажба на партиди на имоти.") And the way I was able to get the greeting in these three languages was to type in the English version on Google Translate ("Good morning Sugar Pine Realty agents. Have a happy day selling lots of property.") and then I chose whatever language I wanted it translated in. There's a second more potent use for Google Translate and as it relates to real estate. With Google Translate you can also translate an entire web page from one language to another. For example, to see this blog post in Spanish, CLICK HERE, to see it in Italian, CLICK HERE, to see it in Bulgarian, CLICK HERE. It's not too far a leap to see how this new technology might be used to sell property. With a little bit of creativity and innovation, a real estate professional could foster an online marketing campaign to another people group. That real estate professional could be you! Check out Google Translate when you get the chance. (One other tip: You can "mouse over" the text that's translated on the above CLICK HERE sites and it shows you the English translation.)
