Mother Lode Area Real Estate Sales Stats (end 1st qtr)

I've got the latest Mother Lode market numbers for you to look at today. To begin with, you'll notice the overall sales picture including all sales classes. CLICK HERE to view March 2009 compared to March 2008. CLICK HERE to view January-March 2009 compared to January-March 2008. You'll also want to notice the graphs including the Mother Lode Residential Unit Sales through March 2009 graph versus the previous five years (clickable picture 1 on the above left) along with the Mother Lode Residential Volume Sales graph versus the previous five years (clickable picture 2 on the right) and the Mother Lode Residential Average Sales Price graph versus the previous five years (clickable picture 3 on the left below), respectively. (The data used comes from the Tuolumne Multiple Listing Service and is deemed reliable, but not guaranteed.) As usual, I also have some of the numbers in black and white here:
UNIT SALES: Mar 09 = 47; Mar 08 = 48; -2%
VOL SALES: Mar 09 = $9,910,907; Mar 08 = $14,873,900; -33%
AVG SALES PRICE: Mar 09 = $210,870; Mar 08 = $309,872; -32%

It seems your year over year is rough, but your NOV. DEC. is starting to show some turning.
If your first quarter 2009 keeps turning maybe you have began to recover. Right now Nevada, Florida, Arizona, So. Cal. are all hitting heavy voulmn. They had big declines and are reacting to lower prices and lower mortgages.
