And I guess each of the following issues cited here are things I grapple with on a regular (if not daily) basis. It's why I've crafted the points to communicate an ongoing battle. Just when you think you've got one of these licked, another one bites you in the rear. (Ever have that happen?) And I guess the bottom line for me when it comes to being a better blogger is to always point myself in that positive direction. With this in mind (and to that end), here are...

1. Forget that family is the priority ahead of blogging.
2. Neglect reading others' stuff to keep their own tank full.
3. Compromise values to gain audience.
4. Don't invest in social media to get their posts out/read.
5. Forget that fresh air works wonders to get the thoughts flowing.
6. Get puffed up on "self" due to accolades ("great compliments").
