How Not To Be A Jerk (33 Don'ts)
All of us don't much like jerks. But sometimes we are one? (Bad English?!) If you're a part of the human race there will be times where you do "jerky" things. That's what I meant. (And I'm not talking about eating dried out beef sticks.)
And I guess the goal is to become less and less "jerky." (If we want any friends, it is.) It's this kind of thinking that's given birth to the following list. And if you're wondering how I could come up with so many "don'ts", maybe it's because I'm familiar with some of these from a personal standpoint? (I'll just let you figure out which personal standpoint I mean.)
So here we go with...
How Not To Be A Jerk (33 don'ts):
1. Don't hold grudges
2. Don't cut in line
3. Don't weasel out of commitments
4. Don't feel "entitled"
5. Don't think you're better than everybody else
6. Don't speed
7. Don't run red lights
8. Don't talk on your cell phone while driving
9. Don't talk on your cell phone while you're with somebody
10. Don't play games
11. Don't wear masks
12. Don't act like a "know it all"
13. Don't yell at people
14. Don't pout
15. Don't twist the truth
16. Don't break your promises
17. Don't blast your neighbors with loud music
18. Don't talk behind people's backs
19. Don't flatter to gain advantage
20. Don't misrepresent to undermine
21. Don't compromise with evil
