Stuck On Stupid

Estupido. Dur. Dumm. Wajinga. Stupid. (Spanish. Irish. German. Swahili. English.) No matter how you say / slice it, we've all done stupid things before. (It happens.) But some of us become paralyzed by our "stupid-ness". (Ya think?) Some of us have a harder time getting over it / letting go. (Is it you?) Some of us fall in a ditch and can't get out. (Our minds don't let us. It's like a prison.) You can help someone who's in this mess to be free. Here's how: If the stupid they did was against or included you, forgive them. "Oh, but you don't know what they did." You're right. I don't know. But what I do know is you've done stupid things to somebody else. And sure, it may be that your personality doesn't get paralyzed over it, but to not forgive someone is to stay stuck on stupid, too. ("[Unforgiveness] is like drinking poison and hoping it will kill the other person.") I can hear the jail doors swinging open already.
