10 Mistakes People Make with Greed (plus 1 bonus):
1. Think they are free from it.
2. Think that the "poor" are free from it (rich and poor alike can be greedy).
3. Overlook that "keeping up with the Jones'" is really greed in disguise (materialism).
4. Point out others who are greedy while they themselves are "on the take" in the same area (happens with and between politicians especially).
5. Don't realize that a lack of giving is a sign of greed.
6. Support another person's greed by paying for things they shouldn't pay for (help him or her to get a job instead).
7. Overlook that cheating on your taxes is a mark of greed.
8. Overlook that not going back to make it right when you've been undercharged at the store is a mark of greed.
9. Don't realize that envy and jealousy are rooted in greed (become content with what you have).
10. Don't realize the antidote to greed is to give.
