1. Forget bosses are human, too.
2. Overlook the pressures they are under.
3. Think that since the cat's away the mice can play (go on holiday when the boss leaves).
4. Don't thank them for the sacrifices (seen and unseen) they make.
5. Overlook that (most) bosses really do have employees' best interests in mind.
6. See a boss as an enemy.
7. Forget that if he/she (the boss) does well, they (the employees) benefit, too (so don't be lazy).
8. Are afraid to speak up and share ideas.
9. Cower before an unreasonable boss just to keep their job.
10. Look the other way when they break the law.
