1. Think government can do no wrong.
2. Think government can do no right.
3. Don't understand its common forms (e.g. Dictatorship, Monarchy, Republic, etc).
4. Don't understand its common forms as it has to do with economics / the economy (e.g. Communist based, Capitalist based, etc).
5. Overlook how people addicted to power (controlling personalities) seek office and use government as a destructive means (e.g. Hitler, etc).
6. Are too trusting of government.
7. Are given to conspiracies when it comes to government (e.g. JFK assassination was an inside job, etc).
8. Don't think that the State would "spin" (lie) to further itself.
9. Don't think that the State would use its power to intimidate, control.
10. Overlook how government power and position tends to corrupt even the best of human beings.
BONUS Don't realize that the U.S. Government's responsibilities are the following (and nothing more): to "establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity."
