Well, these aren't really secrets, but they are some of the key things I try to keep in mind when blogging. Of course, I've come across some of them in my reading and watching the experts. Beyond that, I work hard at putting them into practice. And so here they are...
6 Secrets to Writing an Attractive Blog Post:
1. Be brief. (The gurus say: "Write tight.")
2. Communicate a call to action.
3. Generate a list? (Use an odd number.)
4. Brainstorm a catchy title.
5. Pick the right picture.
6. Make it all you.

some good tips, but you really should expand just a bit on each point. Your title pulled me in, but I didn't find enough substance to keep me engaged. And it's time for you to graduate to your own stand-alone WordPress.org blog. Just sayin...
Nice post. But simply agree with Rich Jacobson. The title pulled me in but could have added some substance to the post in order to keep the user engaged on the website. Secondly try to prevent spammers from posting idiotic comments on your blog. That adds a bad impression on the loyal visitors. Try moderating comments. That would be good.

I guess I miss the "old days" when a blog was just an online journal or a place to share whatever you needed to share, such as the journey of one family towards adoption. Now it's set up like a presentation, geared for "success." Maybe we need the equivalent of a "power tie," too?
