Let's Talk Branding

"Branding" is a big deal whether you're online or off. Getting your brand right is the key to your business success or mediocrity (or worse).
A brand is a mark. It's a stamp (of approval or disapproval).
It's what you're known for. It's your reputation.
A brand is how people perceive you in their minds when they see your commercial or email or tweet or Youtube video, etc. (Pause to reflect.)
A brand is what people say about you (good or bad) to other people. (Pause to reflect again.)
A brand is what you do for your customer when something goes wrong with your product and they need help fixing it. (Pause to reflect one more time.)
A brand is your logo. (It needs to be simple. Memorable.)
A brand is your website. (Give them one big and quick call to action right in front of their nose if you're a real estate brand like us.)
A brand is how you interact with all consumers. (Don't just be nice to people that can do something for you. Be nice to people that can't do anything for you.)
Finally, a brand isn't so much about what's on the outside of you. It's about what's on the inside.
