Would You Recommend You?
(This is one of those "take a look in the mirror" posts like another one I wrote: click here. To listen to the podcast version, click here.)
So would you? Be honest. Would you recommend you? Would you really?
I mean, we think others should. We think others should recommend us ~ and to their family and friends and acquaintances and people they know to do business with or hire or consult, etc. Right?
But are we "recommendable"? (It's a word. I looked it up on dictionary.com.)
This isn't about being perfect. We all make mistakes. We all blow it from time to time.
But that's a part of being a person who we would recommend as well (if we would recommend ourselves). Being able to admit when we're wrong. Being humble enough to say, "Yeah. I blew it. Can you forgive me? I'll make it right." And not making excuses for our bad actions and habits.
