My Predictions for 2015 (and the Problem with Predicting)

NOSTRADAMUS HATS ON
It's that time again. Many are getting their "Nostradamus" hats on and making their forecasts for the coming year (2015).
And so I'm doing it myself, too, and to make a point.
Let me just give you some predictions real quick before I get to my point. So here goes (drum roll, please)...
MY PREDICTIONS FOR 2015
1. It will be a bad year.
2. It will be a good year.
3. Gas prices will go up.
4. Gas prices will go down.
5. The real estate market won't come back.
6. The real estate market will come back.
7. People won't like you.
8. People will like you.
9. You will mess up.
10. You will do well.
And let me just stop right there. Did you get my point? (Maybe?)
NO ONE CAN KNOW THE FUTURE
Depending on who you listen to, you will hear one side or the other about the coming year. Up or down. Down or up. (Right?)
The bottom line: No one can possibly know the future. (Oh, but you already knew that.)
It's the problem with predicting. You might as well flip a coin. (I think that's how some people put together their predictions.)
So what are your predictions for the coming year?

Love this! I don't believe in fortune telling too because, who knows really? We can only control what we could and then leave everything to the One with whom nothing is impossible. :)
