1. Are confused on what technology is and what technology isn't ("technology can be anything that was created by humans that makes life easier or solves a problem").
2. Are not an early adopter.
3. Are afraid of and/or poo poo it.
4. Become consumed by technology (e.g. a teenager listening to their iPod).
5. Never master anything because they're too busy running after the latest gadget.
6. Think they have to be an expert to teach it (just share what you know).
7. Forget that new doesn't always mean better.
8. Forget that old doesn't always mean worse.
9. Use it for bad purposes (e.g. cyberbullying).
10. Think they can't live without it (which would you rather have, air to breathe or an internet connection?).

BONUS Don't realize that all the tools to learn technology are available online (just "Google" it!).
