Lightning fast read meant to make you think...
10 Mistakes People Make with Blind Spots (plus 1 bonus):
1. Aren't clear on what a blind spot is ("an area or subject about which one is uninformed, prejudiced, or unappreciative").
2. Think they don't have any blind spots.
3. Blow off people who point out their blind spots.
4. Overlook the blind spot (e.g. over their left shoulder) when driving a car (need to check so you don't get in an accident).
5. Have never heard of the vision blind spot.
6. Put off seeing an eye doctor at the first sign of a blind spot in vision.
7. Are unwilling to face a blind spot staring them in the face (choose to remain blind to it / live in denial).
8. Know of a blind spot (in themselves or another) and do nothing about it.
9. Are a bull in a china shop when dealing with them (the diplomatic - kid gloves - approach is much better).
10. Have never considered asking a trusted friend to point out their blind spots (for the purpose of changing).
BONUS Go around pointing out other people's blind spots while they are coddling their own.
